First Vernon View Photo Contest Winners
Our 2020 Lake Vernon Association Photo Contest, our first of many more to come, was a huge success, and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate! Through these pictures, you captured the beauty that surrounds us as well as the genuine fun and enjoyment that are experienced on our lake. Although we can only have three winners, one for each category, everyone is truly a winner in their own right. Each of the three category winners will be contacted directly and arrangements will be made to award their prize of a $75.00 Gift Certificate for Algonquin Outfitters. The list of winners and runners-up, along with all the submissions are published on our LVA website for your viewing enjoyment. Thanks again for participating, and we look forward to repeating this contest in 2021!

For the photos that have the caption 'Peter's Pix', please read below:
If you followed Peter Gottleib around on any given day, you would report some kind of exciting adventure on Lake Vernon. He spends a significant amount of time on the lake hiking, paddling, snowshoeing or skiing. As a gregarious outdoorsman Peter finds spectacular photographic opportunities and he is a very talented photographer. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and a number of years ago, he left a successful Toronto-based design firm as Creative Director to live on the beautiful shores of Lake Vernon with his family. Peter has generously offered to share his work for us on the LVA website. So if you are far from the cottage or missing Lake Vernon, check in with Peter’s Pix - you will witness the beauty of the seasons. He is our “eye on the lake.”
